District Chairman's Message

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and all the days leading up to this holy and blessed day! Judy and I had two Christmases this year as we welcomed our Grandkids from New Jersey a couple days after Christmas.
As we look forward to the New Year, traditionally a time for renewal and Resolutions, let's join together in making our New Year Resolution one for dedication and commitment to changing the direction of our Country. We can and will work harder to register more Republicans, knock on more doors, have more conversations, put out more signs, make more phone calls, and sign up more volunteers. We all are keenly aware of the challenges in 2024 and I am confident the Third district will step up and do more than our part. America needs us now more than ever before! AND IT ALL STARTS RIGHT HERE IN NORTH CAROLINA!
Our Convention was held on December 9th and it was good to see the energy and turnout. Thank you for attending and your participation. Congratulations to those of you elected to serve as officers and members of the Third District Executive Committee and State Executive Committee. Of course we will start planning our next Convention, which will be held in April. We are tentatively looking at April 20th as our Convention date and are considering the same venue at Beaufort Community College.
The new roster is almost finalized and we should be able to have copies available to County Chairs and Members before our next Ex Com meeting. We will have our first EX COM meeting of 2024 on Saturday, January 13th at King Chicken in Washington, NC at 601 Carolina Avenue, 27899. Lunch will be served at 11:30 AM and our meeting will follow lunch. I anticipate there might be a few candidates there as Primary day is just around the corner on March 5th.

As you begin your January meetings, I encourage you to develop your strategy and game plans for the General Election in November. Absentee Ballots, Early Voting, Candidate appearances, volunteer list, poll workers, phone callers, fundraisers, and all the other things you do to keep the Third District RED!

Happy New Year!
