3rd District Adopts Resolution Charging Senator Phil Berger with Party Disloyalty
The 3rd Congressional District Republican Party Executive Committee met today and voted unanimously to adopt a resolution charging N.C. State Senator, President Pro-Tem Phil Berger with party disloyalty.
This action was not taken lightly. Our committee is bound by duty to uphold the principles of the North Carolina Republican Party, its Plan of Organization, and the trust placed in us by grassroots Republicans across the district. Senator Berger’s repeated disregard for these principles, as well as his public support of non-Republican candidates, constitutes a direct violation of party loyalty and the obligations of Republican leadership.
By passing this resolution, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the integrity of our Party and ensuring that the values of North Carolina Republicans are represented faithfully at every level of government.
