The 3rd District GOP Condemns Violence, Mourns Charlie Kirk

Eastern, N.C. - The North Carolina 3rd Congressional District Republican Party mourns the tragic and senseless death of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed today while speaking to students at Utah Valley University.

Charlie, Founder of Turning Point, U.S.A, was a tireless advocate for conservative values and for the next generation of leaders. His voice inspired countless young Americans to stand boldly for faith, freedom, and the principles that make our nation strong.

This act of violence is not only an attack on Charlie but an attack on the free exchange of ideas that forms the cornerstone of our Republic. Political disagreement must never give way to political violence.

We extend our deepest prayers to Charlie's family, friends, and colleagues during this devastating time. We also call on all Americans, regardless of party, to reject hatred and violence, and to recommit ourselves to respectful dialogue and the defense of our shared freedoms.

May Charlie's legacy continue to inspire courage and conviction in the fight to preserve liberty.
