3rd District Legislature Day 2021

The 3rd Congressional District will be visiting the NC General Assembly on August 4, 2021.  Our planned purpose is to thank our Republican Senate and House Representatives for their hard work in representing the 3rd District and our great state!  Any registered republican who resides in the 3rd district is invited to join us.

Attire:  Business Casual (No masks required)

Itinerary:

• 12:00PM - Meet up/lunch in the Legislative Building Cafeteria (located in the basement)
•  1:00 PM - Meeting with District 3 House & Senate members (1027 LB)
•  2:00 PM - Pictures on the Senate Floor
•  2:15 PM - Pictures on the House Floor
•  2:30 PM - Tour of the Legislature (Meet at Jones Street entrance lobby in front of red staircase)
•  3:15 PM - Free time (would be best to sty in the building)
•  4:00 PM - Senate Session (Sit in gallery; access is on the 3rd floor)

Recommendations:  

If arriving early to Raleigh, there are two NC museums directly across from the Jones Street entrance to the General Assembly. North Carolina Museum of History:  5E Edenton St, Raleigh, NC Hours 9am-5pm and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science: 11 W Jones St, Raleigh, NC, Hours 10am-5PM.
